Implementing Obamacare Is Now A Crime In South Carolina











The South Carolina Legislature has passed a bill entitled the “South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act" (Bill 3101), which criminalizes the implementation of any part of Obamacare the state deems “unconstitutional”.


Health Insurance Exchange Deadline: What Did Your State Decide?

Nineteen states and Washington, DC plan to build their own exchange. Twenty-four have decided to have the government build and run their exchanges. Six states are pursuing a partnership exchange - the federal government builds the exchange and runs it in partnership with the state. Utah decided today to move forward with its own version of a state exchange, and the government will assist Utah become federally compliant. Florida (as of this writing) has not notified the Obama administration officially of its intentions.

The deadline is midnight tonight. Setting up the exchanges will be complex, and the requirement is that these are set up and running by October 2013. What did your state decide?
